OUR MISSION

To serve the community through the protection of life, environment and property by using professional preparedness, prevention, education, and response with compassion, courtesy, and integrity

WHY WE NEED YOU
Locally and nationally, volunteers make up the majority of the fire service
        - 70% of all US fire departments are volunteer
        - 65% of all firefighters are volunteers
Without volunteers, who would respond in your Family's time of need?
Overall volunteer numbers are down, leaving your local fire department struggling
        to help those in need.
Daytime firefighters are in extreme need as most folks work quite a distance from
home, leaving few if any firefighters to respond

VOLUNTEER MEMBER BENEFITS
In addition to the personal rewards of special service to the community, volunteer firefighters enjoy several tangible benefits

Free training & equipment
  Learn life-saving skills
      - Ice rescue
      - Automobile extrication
      - Search and rescue
      - CPR and first aid
  Length of Service Aware Program
  State funded retirement program
  Annual Appreciation Banquet, fundraisers, dept
     social gatherings
Public recognition, local parades, fire prevention
